Cordless Aluminum Mini Blinds

Simple lift. Precise light control.

Bring a clean, coordinated look to your windows with slim aluminum slats and two easy manual controls. Raise or lower the blind using the bottom rail or clear handle, then rotate the tilt wand to adjust the slat angle, incoming light and privacy.

70.87 in Maximum height · 1800 mm
2 in Minimum inside-mount depth · approx. 50 mm

Two controls, two different functions

Adjust the height. Fine-tune the light.

01   CORDLESS LIFT

Raise and lower by hand

Gently lift or lower the bottom rail using the clear handle to position the blind at your preferred height. The spring-assisted mechanism supports smooth movement without a hanging lift-control cord to pull.

02   WAND TILT

Rotate for light and privacy

Turn the clear wand to change the angle of the slats. Open the slats for more daylight and a clearer view, or tilt them closed for greater privacy. The wand adjusts the slats; it does not raise or lower the blind.

What cordless means: There is no external lift-control cord. The internal lift cords and ladder cords that support the slats are still part of the blind.

Choose your mount & measure carefully

Measuring & Installation Guide

The 2-in-1 steel bracket design supports wall mounting or top/ceiling mounting. The brackets are secured with screws, and the spring clips hold the headrail in place. This is a screw-mounted product, not a no-drill blind.

OPTION 01

Inside Mount

For installation within the window recess.

  1. Width: Measure the opening at the top, middle and bottom. Use the narrowest width.
  2. Height: Measure from the top inside edge to the sill at the left, center and right. Use the shortest height.
  3. Depth: Allow at least 2 in (approximately 50 mm) of usable mounting depth. Check for handles and other obstructions.

With the default factory deduction:

Order width = Measured opening width

Order height = Measured opening height

The factory subtracts 0.12 in (3 mm) from the overall width and from the overall height.

Do not subtract this allowance yourself when the default factory deduction is selected.

No Deduction option: Use this when you are supplying the required finished dimensions. Any necessary installation clearance must already be included in your calculations.

OPTION 02

Outside Mount

For installation outside the recess, covering the opening.

  1. Measure the full window opening you want the blind to cover.
  2. Add a total of 1.97 in (50 mm) to the width and a total of 1.97 in (50 mm) to the height, following the measuring guide.
  3. Check the proposed coverage and bracket position, including any trim or obstructions, before ordering.

Calculated finished size:

Width = Window width + 1.97 in (50 mm)

Height = Window height + 1.97 in (50 mm)

Enter the calculated finished dimensions and select No Deduction to avoid a further factory reduction.

The 1.97 in (50 mm) addition is the total allowance per dimension, not an addition on every side. Check that the final outside-mount size remains within the custom width and height limits.

Avoid double deduction: The default 0.12 in (3 mm) reduction is applied by the factory once to each overall dimension. It is not a per-side deduction. Manufacturing tolerance is separate from this planned size adjustment.

Details that support everyday use

Built Around Smooth, Balanced Operation

SPRING-ASSISTED LIFT

High-resilience spring module

A built-in spring mechanism assists the lifting motion for smooth, low-noise manual operation.

BALANCED MOVEMENT

Coordinated cord winding

The winding mechanism helps distribute lifting force evenly so both sides move together.

REINFORCED COMPONENTS

Wear-resistant lift cords

Reinforced lift cords work with the aluminum rails and slats to support repeated everyday adjustment.

A coordinated finish

Headrail Color Matching

We coordinate the headrail with your selected slat color for a cohesive appearance. The headrail color range includes the following finishes, subject to availability:

White Beige Silver Gray Gray Light Green Light Blue Gold Wood Grain Black
Important color notice: If a suitable matching headrail color is temporarily unavailable, White or Silver Gray may be supplied as a neutral substitute. Please confirm availability before ordering when a particular headrail color is essential.

Optional accessory

Extra Reach for Higher Windows

Add an optional telescoping pole to help reach the blind's clear bottom-rail handle. The hook engages with the handle so you can raise or lower blinds positioned beyond normal hand reach.

Slat angle adjustment remains a separate function controlled by the tilt wand.

Sold separately

The telescoping pole is not included unless purchased as an optional add-on. Confirm the available pole length and required reach before ordering.

Helpful answers before you order

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the wand raise and lower the blind?

No. Rotate the wand to adjust the slat angle. To raise or lower the blind, move the bottom rail or clear handle by hand, or use the optional telescoping pole with the handle.

Should I deduct anything from my inside-mount measurements?

Not when the default factory deduction is selected. Enter the measured opening size; the factory reduces the overall width and height by 0.12 in (3 mm) each. Select No Deduction only when you are entering your required finished dimensions.

Will the headrail always match my selected slat color?

Matching depends on stock availability. White or Silver Gray may be substituted when a suitable matching headrail color is unavailable.

Is the telescoping pole included?

No. It is an optional add-on for operating the bottom-rail handle on higher windows and must be purchased separately.

Before checkout: Confirm your width, height, mounting depth, mount type, deduction option, slat color and optional accessory selection.

iHomeBlinds / Measure Before You Order

Measuring Guide

Follow these steps to measure for conventional blinds and shades. Start by choosing an inside or outside mount, then record your dimensions before placing your order.

Measure Each Window

Measure every window individually, even when the openings look the same.

Record Your Dimensions

When ordering in inches, measure to the nearest 1/8 inch. Keep width and height in the same unit.

Check the Product Page

Confirm the mounting requirements and available size options for your chosen product.

Inside Mount

The blind or shade is installed inside the window recess.

  1. 1. Check the Recess Depth

Measure the usable depth inside your window recess. It must meet the minimum mounting depth shown on the product page. Check for handles or other obstacles that could interfere with installation.

  2. 2. Measure the Width

Measure inside the recess at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest width and enter that measurement as your order width.

  3. 3. Measure the Height

Measure inside the recess at the left, middle, and right. Record the largest height and enter that measurement as your order height, unless your product page instructs otherwise.

Order Width = Smallest measured inside width

Order Height = Largest measured inside height

Example: If your smallest width is 34 3/8" and your largest height is 57 5/8", enter W 34 3/8" × H 57 5/8" in your order. Do not subtract the factory deduction yourself.

Inside mount diagram: measure width at the top, middle and bottom, and height at the left, middle and right.
Measure within the window recess.

Inside Mount: Choose Your Deduction Option

Default Option

3 mm Factory Deduction

We deduct 3 mm (approximately 0.12 inches) from the ordered width and from the ordered height. This is one deduction per dimension, not per side.

Enter your measured opening size without subtracting 3 mm. We apply the selected deduction during production.

Optional Selection

No / No Deduction

Select “No” or “No Deduction” when ordering to cancel the default factory deduction. We will not subtract the standard 3 mm from your entered dimensions.

Before selecting this option, confirm that your entered dimensions allow the fitting clearance required by your product.

Outside Mount

The blind or shade is installed outside the recess, with extra coverage around the opening.

  1. 1. Measure the Width & Add Coverage

Measure across the outside of the window recess at the top, middle, and bottom. Following the illustrated guide, use the smallest width and add 4 inches to calculate your order width.

  2. 2. Measure the Height & Add Coverage

Measure the height at the left, middle, and right. Use the largest height and add 4 inches to calculate your order height.

  3. 3. Confirm the Final Coverage

Check that the planned size covers the entire opening and leaves room for the mounting hardware. Adjust the overlap as needed for your mounting position, trim, handles, and nearby obstacles.

Order Width = Measured width + 4" (101.6 mm)

Order Height = Measured height + 4" (101.6 mm)

Example: W 34 3/8" × H 57 5/8"
Order size: W 38 3/8" × H 61 5/8"

Outside mount diagram: take three width measurements and three height measurements around the window recess.
Allow extra coverage beyond the window opening.

Installation Guide

Traditional Bracket Installation

Inside mount & outside mount instructions for bracket-mounted blinds and shades.

Before You Start: Check the Headrail

Installation brackets are usually attached to the headrail for shipping, rather than packed separately. Remove the brackets from the headrail before installing them. Secure the brackets to the mounting surface first, then attach the headrail.

Check the headrail and all packaging before assuming any parts are missing. If brackets are missing or lost, please contact customer service before installation.

Identify Your Bracket Type

The bracket style depends on your product and mounting method. Use the brackets supplied with your shade and follow any model-specific instructions.

Inside Mount

Compact Brackets

Inside mounting typically uses smaller brackets secured to the top interior surface of the window opening. The shade sits within the frame.

Outside Mount

Wall-Mount Brackets

Outside mounting typically uses larger, angled brackets secured to the wall or suitable trim above the window. The shade sits outside the opening.

Selected Products

Two-in-One Brackets

Some products use the same bracket for both mounting methods. Use the mounting face and screw holes specified for your chosen installation.

Bracket shapes, release mechanisms, spacing, and minimum mounting depths vary by model. This guide covers traditional screw-mounted brackets, not no-drill tension systems.

Tools & Fixings

Measuring tape, pencil, level, screwdriver, drill, and screws or anchors suitable for your mounting surface. Check for hidden wiring, pipes, and other obstructions before drilling.

Installation Video

Use the video and step-by-step images as a visual reference. Follow the instructions supplied with your product if its bracket design differs.

Start Here: Prepare Your Brackets

Complete Steps 1–3, then follow the inside mount or outside mount instructions below.

1

Remove the Pre-Attached Brackets

Check the headrail for brackets attached during shipping. Release each bracket according to its clip or locking mechanism, without forcing it. Keep all brackets and fixings together for installation.

Step 1: Remove the inside mount or outside mount brackets attached to the headrail.
2

Measure & Mark the Positions

Hold the headrail at the intended mounting position, check that it is level, and mark the bracket locations. Follow your product instructions for bracket spacing and any additional support brackets.

Step 2: Measure and mark the bracket installation positions.
3

Mark the Screw Holes & Drill

Set the headrail aside. Use each bracket as a template to mark its screw holes, then drill the appropriate pilot holes. Use anchors or other fixings suitable for the mounting surface where required.

Step 3: Position the brackets at the markings and drill the screw holes.

Inside Mount Installation

Attach the brackets to the top interior surface of the window opening.

4A

Secure the Inside Mount Brackets

Screw the compact brackets into the prepared mounting positions, keeping them aligned. If your product uses two-in-one brackets, use the top-fixing holes specified for inside mounting.

Step 4A: Secure the inside mount brackets with screws at the top of the window opening.
5A

Attach the Headrail

For the clip-in brackets shown, hook the headrail into the front of the brackets, then rotate it down until it snaps into place. Support the headrail until every bracket is fully engaged.

Step 5A: Hook the headrail into the inside mount brackets and rotate it into its locked position.

Outside Mount Installation

Attach the brackets to the wall or suitable trim above the window opening.

4B

Secure the Outside Mount Brackets

Fasten the outside mount brackets at the marked positions, keeping them level and aligned. For two-in-one brackets, use the wall-fixing holes specified for outside mounting.

Step 4B: Secure the outside mount brackets to the wall above the window.
5B

Attach the Headrail

For the brackets shown, hook the headrail into the front of the brackets, then rotate it down until it locks into place. Confirm that every bracket is securely engaged before releasing the headrail.

Step 5B: Hook the headrail into the outside mount brackets and rotate it into its locked position.

Final Check Before Use

Confirm that all screws are secure, all brackets are engaged, and the headrail is level. Gently test the shade through its normal range of movement.

If the headrail feels loose or the shade does not operate smoothly, stop and check the installation. Do not force the headrail or operating mechanism.

Missing or Lost Brackets?

First, check whether the brackets are still attached to the headrail or tucked inside the packaging. If you cannot find them, please contact our customer service team.

Include your order number and photos of the headrail and any brackets you received so we can help identify the correct parts. Do not install the shade with missing or incompatible brackets.
