Check Your Window Before Ordering

Inside Mount Only

This no-drill model installs inside the window opening. It is not designed for outside mounting on the wall or on the face of the window trim.

1.5 in Minimum Depth

Your window frame must have at least 1.5 inches (38.1 mm) of depth. The headrail depth is also 1.5 inches (38.1 mm).

Custom Size Range

Order each shade to suit your window opening within the following size limits.

Dimensions in millimeters are the reference values; inch conversions are approximate.
Custom width 500–2000 mm
Approximately 19.69–78.74 inches
Maximum height 2000 mm
Approximately 78.74 inches
Mounting type No-drill inside mount only
Minimum frame depth 1.5 inches (38.1 mm)
Headrail depth 1.5 inches (38.1 mm)
Operation Manual cordless, top-down bottom-up
Default factory deduction 3 mm (approximately 0.12 inch) from both width and height
Alternative sizing option No Deduction

For dimensions outside this range, please contact us before ordering.

How to Measure for Inside Mount

  1. Measure the width. Measure the inside opening from left to right at the top, where the headrail will sit. Use the narrowest measurement in this mounting area.
  2. Measure the height. Measure from the top of the inside opening down to the window sill.
  3. Check the depth. Confirm that the frame provides at least 1.5 inches (38.1 mm) of depth at the mounting position.
  4. Check every window separately. Record the width and height for each opening before ordering.

Understand the Factory Deduction

With the default option, the factory subtracts 3 mm (approximately 0.12 inch) from both the submitted width and height. Submit your measured opening dimensions without subtracting this allowance a second time.

Select No Deduction if you require the submitted dimensions without this factory adjustment.

Flexible Light and Privacy Control

Top-Down Bottom-Up Adjustment

Lower the top rail to let daylight in above the shade, or raise the bottom rail to reveal the view below. Position the fabric where you need coverage.

Cordless Lift Handles

Adjust the shade manually using the clear handles on the movable rails, without a hanging operating cord.

Honeycomb Fabric Structure

Cellular air pockets help insulate the window. The fabric also helps soften sound for everyday comfort.

Light Filtering and Privacy

Light-filtering fabric softens incoming daylight while adding privacy to the covered part of your window.

Install in Four Steps

Position the shade inside the opening, secure the safety lock with the included hex key, and replace the cover. No drilling is required.

  1. Position the Left Side

Push the shade into the upper-left corner of the window opening.

  2. Position the Right Side

Push the shade into the upper-right corner of the window opening.

  3. Secure the Safety Lock

Use the included hex key to turn the safety lock clockwise.

iHomeBlinds / Measure Before You Order

Measuring Guide

Follow these steps to measure for conventional blinds and shades. Start by choosing an inside or outside mount, then record your dimensions before placing your order.

Measure Each Window

Measure every window individually, even when the openings look the same.

Record Your Dimensions

When ordering in inches, measure to the nearest 1/8 inch. Keep width and height in the same unit.

Check the Product Page

Confirm the mounting requirements and available size options for your chosen product.

Inside Mount

The blind or shade is installed inside the window recess.

  1. 1. Check the Recess Depth

Measure the usable depth inside your window recess. It must meet the minimum mounting depth shown on the product page. Check for handles or other obstacles that could interfere with installation.

  2. 2. Measure the Width

Measure inside the recess at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest width and enter that measurement as your order width.

  3. 3. Measure the Height

Measure inside the recess at the left, middle, and right. Record the largest height and enter that measurement as your order height, unless your product page instructs otherwise.

Order Width = Smallest measured inside width

Order Height = Largest measured inside height

Example: If your smallest width is 34 3/8" and your largest height is 57 5/8", enter W 34 3/8" × H 57 5/8" in your order. Do not subtract the factory deduction yourself.

Inside mount diagram: measure width at the top, middle and bottom, and height at the left, middle and right.
Measure within the window recess.

Inside Mount: Choose Your Deduction Option

Default Option

3 mm Factory Deduction

We deduct 3 mm (approximately 0.12 inches) from the ordered width and from the ordered height. This is one deduction per dimension, not per side.

Enter your measured opening size without subtracting 3 mm. We apply the selected deduction during production.

Optional Selection

No / No Deduction

Select “No” or “No Deduction” when ordering to cancel the default factory deduction. We will not subtract the standard 3 mm from your entered dimensions.

Before selecting this option, confirm that your entered dimensions allow the fitting clearance required by your product.

Outside Mount

The blind or shade is installed outside the recess, with extra coverage around the opening.

  1. 1. Measure the Width & Add Coverage

Measure across the outside of the window recess at the top, middle, and bottom. Following the illustrated guide, use the smallest width and add 4 inches to calculate your order width.

  2. 2. Measure the Height & Add Coverage

Measure the height at the left, middle, and right. Use the largest height and add 4 inches to calculate your order height.

  3. 3. Confirm the Final Coverage

Check that the planned size covers the entire opening and leaves room for the mounting hardware. Adjust the overlap as needed for your mounting position, trim, handles, and nearby obstacles.

Order Width = Measured width + 4" (101.6 mm)

Order Height = Measured height + 4" (101.6 mm)

Example: W 34 3/8" × H 57 5/8"
Order size: W 38 3/8" × H 61 5/8"

Outside mount diagram: take three width measurements and three height measurements around the window recess.
Allow extra coverage beyond the window opening.
